Our vision is to create a space for all, that empowers people to make positive change to their lives, our community, and the planet.

WHAT WE DO

Spitalfields City Farm is the nearest city farm to the City of London’s square mile. Despite this, we are located in one of the most densely populated wards of Tower Hamlets. We work with a vibrant and multi-cultural community to provide educational opportunities for children and adults alike, to empower people to gain new skills, confidence, to combat social isolation.

Small yet ambitious, we accomplish a lot with a little, which is an even greater challenge at the moment, given the food poverty and cost of living crisis. Like many others, we are finding novel ways of being there for our community and continuing to raise necessary funds.

OUR STRATEGY 2022-25

Our new strategy is the culmination of a period of consultation with our staff, volunteers and trustees during 2021, the purpose of which was to create a shared vision of how our city farm can better serve the local community, visitors and other stakeholders: A common vision for where we are going based on everyone having a say.
